Learn to be at peace with yourself. This means coming to terms with yourself, your past, and your decisions. Have no regrets of your past. Be positive and optimistic and look towards your future. Become proactive and work towards your goals.

Take an active role in your life and make changes where you think they are necessary. Live your life the way you want to live. Don’t let others determine your life for you. Take control of your life and make it what you want it to be. It’s up to you to become happy and enjoy your life. Happiness is already waiting inside you, you just have to find it.

It takes time and practice to live the life you want to live, but it can be done. It does not all happen at once or right away, you have to work at it. It is definitely worth it. Life can be a rich and fulfilling experience if you live that way and allow it to be.

Eric 🙂

Spending Your Time

Posted on June 8, 2008. Filed under: Life | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Time is a commodity, it is our most precious resource. You have a limited amount and you’re not getting any more of it. Be frugal with it, not frivolous. Spend your time doing things that are important to you and you enjoy doing.

You can’t get your time back once you spend it. Never waste time. That is the worst thing you could do to yourself. It is something you’ll regret later on. Nobody has extra time to pass or waste. You might as well enjoy it rather than spending your life passing time. Life is too short to waste.

Free your time:

You shouldn’t have to fight others for YOUR time. All 24 hours are yours. You decide how you spend it. Don’t let others decide for you. They will take all of your time, leaving none for you. Make sure you schedule some time for yourself each day, no exceptions. Living without taking time for yourself is like working without taking breaks: it’s not fun, it’s not productive or efficient, and you’ll burn out if you try it for very long.

Say “No” once in a while. Take your time back. Say “no” to others and “yes” to yourself. Don’t feel guilty or selfish; it’s your time and you deserve it more than anybody else. You should never be too busy to take time for you. Focus on making your life less busy and having more time for yourself. Don’t cheat yourself. Living without time for yourself isn’t living.

What matters is how you use what time you have. Your time is your life. Start living. Don’t wait for a better time. Make time now; you won’t regret it.

Thoughts on the Day

Posted on May 25, 2008. Filed under: Inspirational, Life, Me, You | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Today is going to be a good day. And if it’s not, then I’ll make the best of it. I’ve got no reason to not have a good day today.

What is you attitude about the day?

  • Are you glad that yesterday is over with?
  • Are you glad that yesterday is in the past so you don’t have to go through it again?
  • Are you thankful for being able to get through and enjoy another day in your life?
  • Are you hanging onto today, enjoying it, not wanting to let go, wishing that it wouldn’t end?
  • Are you looking forward to the next day and have difficulty getting to sleep because you are excited and anticipating it?
  • Are you weary of what tomorrow will bring, uncertain of your future?
  • Was it/is it/will it be just another day to you?

Tomorrow for Me:

I don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow, but I am going to make the best of it. I eagerly await it, but also want to enjoy today. I am looking forward to tomorrow. There will be many opportunities. I am positive and optimistic about it. I think tomorrow could be even better than today and yesterday.

I am organized and prepared for what the future has in store for me. I am ready for future opportunities, and hopefully prepared and equipped for the challenges that are undoubtedly ahead.

Post your thoughts and comments on how you view your days.

Eric 🙂
