Moving On, Going Ahead

Learn to be at peace with yourself. This means coming to terms with yourself, your past, and your decisions. Have no regrets of your past. Be positive and optimistic and look towards your future. Become proactive and work towards your goals.

Take an active role in your life and make changes where you think they are necessary. Live your life the way you want to live. Don’t let others determine your life for you. Take control of your life and make it what you want it to be. It’s up to you to become happy and enjoy your life. Happiness is already waiting inside you, you just have to find it.

It takes time and practice to live the life you want to live, but it can be done. It does not all happen at once or right away, you have to work at it. It is definitely worth it. Life can be a rich and fulfilling experience if you live that way and allow it to be.

Your Dreams in Life

Posted on June 12, 2008. Filed under: Inspirational, Life | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Your dreams in life don’t have to be spectacular; they can be whatever you want, like traveling to another country that you’ve never been to before, learning how to do something like play guitar, or be the best person/parent that you can.Β  Your dreams in life are about something you really want, something that is special and important to you. You’re dreams don’t have toΒ  be to become rich and famous, climb a mountain, or be the best guitar player in the world or anything like that.

It is more important that you try your best rather than trying to be the best in the world.Β  Only one person can be the best in the world at something, but everybody can do or try their best at something. Trying your best is what is truly important.Β  Do your best, try your best, give your best, but don’t expect to be the best.Β  You won’t be disappointed if you do.

Keep dreaming,

I am Looking Forward to Tomorrow

Posted on June 10, 2008. Filed under: Life, Me | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

I am looking forward to the future. It will be good, but if it isn’t, I will make the best of it. I am optimistic about the future and the opportunities it will bring. It will also undoubtedly bring challenges, but I am better equipped to triumph over them than ever before.

I don’t know what tomorrow is going to bring, but I am ready for it. I do not have fear or uncertainty. I am going to have a good day tomorrow. There is no reason for me not to have a good day. I’ve had enough bad days and now it’s time for me to start enjoying the good days. I’ve learned that the day, just as in life, is what you make it, good or bad. It can be the most rewarding experience, or the most painful. You decide; its up to you, depending on what your attitude is.

I am looking forward to tomorrow. See you there,

Life is a Game

Posted on June 9, 2008. Filed under: Life | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Life is a game. You don’t have control over the game or its rules, but you do have control over your life. You have limited time and energy, though you don’t know how much. You decide how you spend your life and what you do with it. You decide your focus and priorities and what is important to you. You can spend your life doing what you want to, or what somebody else wants you to do.

The winners of this game of life are not focused on money. Those who are happy are the ones that win. Having the most money can’t make you win. Your success is not relative to others. It is all about what you do. Your goals, dreams, and aspirations are determined by you, and what you do determines whether you achieve them or not, whether you believe in yourself and work towards them or become discouraged and give up on them.

How far you go in life is determined by you and the decisions you make and the actions you take. Whether you get what you want out of life or not is not determined by anybody but you.

Life is a game, so don’t take yourself too seriously. Things that bother you are often not as important as you think they are. Don’t spend your life playing the wrong game for points that don’t matter, and don’t be focused only on your score. The score isn’t important. You should focus on enjoying life, learning about it, and helping others along the way. Make the most of it. That is what winning and success are. That is how to win this game of life.

Spending Your Time

Posted on June 8, 2008. Filed under: Life | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Time is a commodity, it is our most precious resource. You have a limited amount and you’re not getting any more of it. Be frugal with it, not frivolous. Spend your time doing things that are important to you and you enjoy doing.

You can’t get your time back once you spend it. Never waste time. That is the worst thing you could do to yourself. It is something you’ll regret later on. Nobody has extra time to pass or waste. You might as well enjoy it rather than spending your life passing time. Life is too short to waste.

Free your time:

You shouldn’t have to fight others for YOUR time. All 24 hours are yours. You decide how you spend it. Don’t let others decide for you. They will take all of your time, leaving none for you. Make sure you schedule some time for yourself each day, no exceptions. Living without taking time for yourself is like working without taking breaks: it’s not fun, it’s not productive or efficient, and you’ll burn out if you try it for very long.

Say “No” once in a while. Take your time back. Say “no” to others and “yes” to yourself. Don’t feel guilty or selfish; it’s your time and you deserve it more than anybody else. You should never be too busy to take time for you. Focus on making your life less busy and having more time for yourself. Don’t cheat yourself. Living without time for yourself isn’t living.

What matters is how you use what time you have. Your time is your life. Start living. Don’t wait for a better time. Make time now; you won’t regret it.

You Can Make a Difference!

Posted on June 6, 2008. Filed under: Inspirational, Life | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

You might be thinking “How can I possibly make a difference in the world? I’m just one person…” Well, my response is: of course you can. Anybody who has ever made a difference just did what they believed in and didn’t give up. Everybody can contribute something, no matter how big or small. The little things add up; it doesn’t have to be something major.

You can make a difference in the world.Β  Be the change you want to be in the world. You can’t change the world all by yourself, but you can decide how you live your live. Live according to your ideals and what you believe in. Do what matters to you. You can’t control how others live, but you can control your own life.

There is much good you can do in the world. There are many people you can help who want and need help. It isn’t difficult to be a positive influence in somebody’s life.

I don’t know exactly what I am doing in my life, but I can still help others. Who am I to give advice or to tell other people how to live? I am just a regular person going through life and trying to help others along the way. Even though my life isn’t perfect, I still have something to offer those who need help and advice.

Go make a difference, and if you already are, kudos to you and keep up the good work!
