Moving On, Going Ahead

Learn to be at peace with yourself. This means coming to terms with yourself, your past, and your decisions. Have no regrets of your past. Be positive and optimistic and look towards your future. Become proactive and work towards your goals.

Take an active role in your life and make changes where you think they are necessary. Live your life the way you want to live. Don’t let others determine your life for you. Take control of your life and make it what you want it to be. It’s up to you to become happy and enjoy your life. Happiness is already waiting inside you, you just have to find it.

It takes time and practice to live the life you want to live, but it can be done. It does not all happen at once or right away, you have to work at it. It is definitely worth it. Life can be a rich and fulfilling experience if you live that way and allow it to be.

Eric 🙂

I am Looking Forward to Tomorrow

Posted on June 10, 2008. Filed under: Life, Me | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

I am looking forward to the future. It will be good, but if it isn’t, I will make the best of it. I am optimistic about the future and the opportunities it will bring. It will also undoubtedly bring challenges, but I am better equipped to triumph over them than ever before.

I don’t know what tomorrow is going to bring, but I am ready for it. I do not have fear or uncertainty. I am going to have a good day tomorrow. There is no reason for me not to have a good day. I’ve had enough bad days and now it’s time for me to start enjoying the good days. I’ve learned that the day, just as in life, is what you make it, good or bad. It can be the most rewarding experience, or the most painful. You decide; its up to you, depending on what your attitude is.

I am looking forward to tomorrow. See you there,

Eric 🙂

You Can Make a Difference!

Posted on June 6, 2008. Filed under: Inspirational, Life | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

You might be thinking “How can I possibly make a difference in the world? I’m just one person…” Well, my response is: of course you can. Anybody who has ever made a difference just did what they believed in and didn’t give up. Everybody can contribute something, no matter how big or small. The little things add up; it doesn’t have to be something major.

You can make a difference in the world.  Be the change you want to be in the world. You can’t change the world all by yourself, but you can decide how you live your live. Live according to your ideals and what you believe in. Do what matters to you. You can’t control how others live, but you can control your own life.

There is much good you can do in the world. There are many people you can help who want and need help. It isn’t difficult to be a positive influence in somebody’s life.

I don’t know exactly what I am doing in my life, but I can still help others. Who am I to give advice or to tell other people how to live? I am just a regular person going through life and trying to help others along the way. Even though my life isn’t perfect, I still have something to offer those who need help and advice.

Go make a difference, and if you already are, kudos to you and keep up the good work!

Eric 🙂

I’m Focusing Outward Now…

Posted on June 5, 2008. Filed under: Misc | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Okay, I totally missed the entire point of having a blog… Well, I got half of it: I was sharing my thoughts and feelings with you, but I wasn’t listening to what you have to say. So from now on, I’m going to focus more on reading and learning than on posting. I’ve got a lot to learn about life and can’t help others unless I learn more.

I am still going to post daily, but I am going to read much, much more.  That’s right.  I’m going to be reading your blog and posting comments.  I am going to read and comment until my eyes and fingers are sore! Your blogs are great and there is so much to learn.  I’m humbled and am just realizing how little I know.

I will try to respond to all of your comments on my blog,  but I may not be able to.  So if you post a comment, know that I appreciate your encouragement very much!

Thanks,

Eric 🙂

Why I Do It

Posted on June 5, 2008. Filed under: Misc | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Thanks everybody who reads and comments on my blog. It is very encouraging for me. Some of you may be wondering why I write this blog.

Well, I do it because it feels good helping others. I do it because of the comments I get and the way people feel when they read my blog. I do it because it is something that I can share with others and hopefully benefit them in some way.

After a little while I began to look at the search phrases people used to find my blog. It broke my heart when I saw the things they searched for. I don’t know anything about these people at all, other than they have problems and want to get their lives on track again. People are looking for answers. People want and need help. Some people feel desperate and out of options, not knowing what to do. There is too much unnecessary pain an suffering in the world. These people do not need to struggle when others can help them. I’ve said it before: Life can be a struggle, but it doesn’t have to be. That’s why I do it.

I am glad to offer hope and inspiration to those who need it and whatever else I can to make other people’s lives better. It is definitely worth it.

Eric

Live Passionately!

Posted on June 4, 2008. Filed under: Inspirational, Life, You | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |

Live with passion and do what interests you and what you enjoy. Do what you love doing. Do what you are passionate about, and be passionate about what you do.

Live your life with enthusiasm and energy, it will be much more rewarding. You will be happy and enjoy life if you are true to yourself and aggressively pursue your passions. Life can be a full and rich experience if you stay focused on the things that are important to you.

Go out and get what you want, regardless of the obstacles or challenges. It is your life and it is up to you how you want to live it and what you do with it. Don’t let anybody stop you from following your dreams or going after your goals. That is what life is all about!

Eric 🙂
